Want to know more about the Song of the Whatever? So do we. And we're supposed to be the ones answering the FAQ.

Songs of the Whatever:
Michael Jackson - "Thriller"
Read or Die- Theme
Cowboy Bebop - The Real Folk Blues
> Gundam X- I Don't Wanna Cry

How do you pick what songs to use?
We ask random people on the street.

Can I recommend a song?
Yes. But if we'll use it is a different story.

You said that you were only going to use Anime songs..."Thriller" isn't anime!
John Kerry isn't the only one allowed to flip flop. Being that the Song of the Whatever was spawned around Halloween, we figured it would be nice to start off with a Halloween-ish song, and "Thriller" was the perfect choice. We plan to convert to pure anime, but we might throw in a "normal" song here and there.

Why does the Song of the Whatever show in a pop up?
Improbable Mission's Dew, whom we kidnapped the code from, informed me that the song will stop playing if you go to another page. In order to avoid this mess, we found that it would be easier to just put it on a pop up page. If you can not access the pop up page, and you really really really want to hear the song, go to http://www.animeasylum.com/sotw.html. You'll be able to access the song, minus the annoying pop up.

Lyrics? Cd Information? Is this necessary?
You know you're going to sing. Suck it up. Karaoke at your computer desk is better than karaoke in the shower... oh, how many times we got shampoo in our mouthes... The CD Information is our little shield to greedy lawyers, and we encourage you to look further into the CD if you like a song. Not all anime have soundtracks, but we'll do our best anyway to find one if it's out there.

Will you have the Japanese lyrics to the anime songs?
Maybe. If we can figure out a way to do so without ripping our hair out or causing you to want to rip ours out for us.

How often do update the Song of the Whatever?
We don't call it the Song of the Whatever for nothing. We'll update it when we get around to it, really.

Will you have a Song of the Whatever with your next versions of AA?
Depends on how well this one goes over.

How do I play the song?
Most of your IP's should have a player that will pop up and play the song when you click the link. If yours doesn't work, or if you rather not use it, you can right click on the link and download it by going to Save Target As.

We originally wanted to have a Real Player mini-version thingymabob on the site, but it didn't turn out well, nor did Julia's attempt at a Flash player. We suck at these sings. So until we figure out how to make a convienent player that will be happiness and music to all, you're sorta stuck with the old fashioned way. Sorry about this -_--

Can I access any old songs, or download them?
Nope. Catch 'em while they're up. We want to conserve space, so we'll delete all old songs to make room for the new ones. You can see a list of the old songs, but only the newest SOTW is up for grabs.

You can download the songs by Right Clicking and going to Save Target As, but we didn't just tell you this.

Can you please put _____ song up?!
Don't be fooled by our sarcastic ways, most of the songs we put up with be contributed by you, not us. We have a little list of songs that we plan to put up, but we're open to your suggestions as well. If you have a song you'd like to see up, please go to the contact page and email Julia about it. Include the song's name and the anime it's from, and if you know, the artist and what kind of song it is (e.g. theme song, ending...). It'll make the search a heck of a lot easier on us.

If you have the song and would send it to us, it'd make things even easier, but please warn us beforehand. We'll take candy from people on the streets, but we seldom open random zipped files.

And of course, you'll get credit, so if you want to see your name on a website and brag to your friends about it, here's the perfect opportunity.

Any more questions? Too bad. (We're kidding! ^_^). Just head over to the contact page and drop us a line and we'll be more than happy to answer your questions.
