The real fun begins- Personality quizzes are a long time internet favorite, especially when it comes to anime. The beautiful artwork and intriguing characters have captured the hearts of many now-otakus and will always continue to do so. Anime itself has awoken an imaginative side in many people that possibly would have continued its slumber if not for the little kick in the booty. This side ranges from the ability to create magical characters to the ability to write creative storylines that will captivate audiences.

But there's more to this imaginative side then what we see physically. Face it- we've all wanted to be a hero, a damsel in distress, or the evil character at one time or another. Anime provides the perfect setting for this sort of daydreaming. Whether you insert yourself into a series or leech off of one and create your own, every anime fan has had his or her dreams about their own little fantasy world. Perhaps it's this same desire for fantasy that has led to the popularity of personality quizzes.

Merit of the Quizzes- In brief, you should not take the results of the quizzes too seriously. On the other hand, some quiz makers do take the time out to make sure the answers to the questions correspond with their respective characters appropriately. What does this mean? Simply put, you might just be similar to the character you get.

Of course, this doesn't go for all quizzes. Anybody who is a vet of taking quizzes will tell you that bad quizzes do exist. This could be from a misinterpretation of the series and its characters, wrong facts, or the quiz could just be in pure jest without any seriousness behind it. And although all quizzes are for fun, there needs to be some degree of maturity behind their creation in order to assure that it's worthy of your time. If you really wanted to be handed a line of bullshit, you wouldn't take the time out to take a quiz, am I correct?

So... back to the merit question. How correct are AA's quizzes? Most likely, the results you get match your personality, to an extent. It really is impossible to nail you with less than 10 questions. The answers are just which character would most likely be your match. Don't get mad if you didn't get your favorite character- these quizzes are to find your clone, not your lover ^_^. If you ever find yourself stuck between two answers, try the one you'd most likely do, get the results, then go back and check your second choice. Chances are the results aren't going to change, but chances are you aren't purely one character, rather, a mix between two or three.

Quizzes are for phun! They really have no psychological value, and getting a certain character does not mean you are totally like that character, nor do you (or will you ever ^_^) possess the same magical powers as that character. No trying to jump off of buildings, I mean it.
